The Implementation Associate is responsible for the implementation of Visa and MasterCard projects for new and existing BIN Sponsorship deals. You will project manage the process internally, working with members of the Compliance, Relationship and Finance teams, as well as liaising with Visa, Mastercard, clients, processors and card manufacturers. You will be required to manage various IDT projects, e.g. the implementation of new systems, work processes etc. The following will form a significant part of the role:
The Implementation Associate is responsible for preparing Initiation Documentation for Projects, ensuring that this and all project logs are up to date and accurate. You will ensure that all project deliverables are documented, agreed with the client and turned in on time and on budget. Any changes to the project scope must be correctly and formally managed. The position requires constant communication with all other IDT teams, with the Implementation Associate responsible for the management and coordination of all scheme and internal projects. Deliverables are to be effectively tested before being accepted by the client, the project formally closed and handed over to the Relationship Team for BAU activities. Examples of internal projects could be AML applications, ticketing platforms etc. Before the execution of all projects, a thorough risk assessment must be conducted, with all stakeholders considered and informed of pertinent information throughout the project lifecycle.
White Label Projects: The Implementation Team is the Centre of Excellence for Visa and MasterCard issuance, initiating bin sponsorship projects with the card schemes, and seeing them through to their launch. Duties include completing all registration and technical documentation and the Implementation Associate will be on hand to answer any ad hoc scheme queries that colleagues and clients (both prospective and existing) may have. Where appropriate, the Implementation Associate will be called upon to provide guidance on supported currencies, countries and BIN splits. Once defined at the Scheme, the Implementation Associate will be required to mirror this setup at the processor; ensuring that all values detailed are within organisation-approved as well as regulatory limits.
- Must hold a degree in Business, Banking or Finance.
- Must have banking or financial services experience.
- Focused attitude to work, with exceptional attention to detail and high levels of accuracy.
- Decision making, with the ability to extract and analyse information relevant to the thought process behind the choice made.
- Familiarity with projects and their lifecycle.
- Ability to use initiative, chair meetings and steer discussions.
- Exceptional English language skills.
- Good Research skills.
