We are hiring a Commis Chef and Chef de Partie to join our client’s team in Gibraltar.
Essential Skills and Experience:
- MUST have a minimum of 5 years work experience within a busy and exclusive restaurant
- MUST have previous experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie
- MUST be assertive, decisive, and able to take immediate action when necessary
- MUST have a genuine passion for food
- Knowledge of a variety of cuisines
- MUST be creative and innovative
- Significant experience in food & beverage service
- Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Strong communication skills (oral & written)
- Strong organisational skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- A conceptional thinker with exceptional organisational and conflict management skills.
- Skilled and experienced in managing and training staff

- Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes
