We are hiring a Commis Chef and Chef de Partie to join our client’s team in Gibraltar.

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • MUST have a minimum of 5 years work experience within a busy and exclusive restaurant
  • MUST have previous experience as a Commis Chef or Chef de Partie
  • MUST be assertive, decisive, and able to take immediate action when necessary
  • MUST have a genuine passion for food
  • Knowledge of a variety of cuisines
  • MUST be creative and innovative
  • Significant experience in food & beverage service
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong communication skills (oral & written)
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills
  • A conceptional thinker with exceptional organisational and conflict management skills. 
  • Skilled and experienced in managing and training staff

  • Excellent knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and processes
  • Attention to detail
