Financial Administrator

We’re hiring a Financial Administrator to join our client’s team in Gibraltar!

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Work with data of an expected and complex nature for, cash books, accounts payable, accounts receivable and time sheets;
  • Assist the department in reaching their key KPIs;
  • Communicate financial information to customers and providers using tact and diplomacy;
  • Proactively review and monitor financial information to ensure compliance with internal financial controls and, statutory legislation;
  • Liaising with both internal and external customers, ensuring smooth process within the team;
  • The analysis is consistent with appropriate legislation and office accounting policies.
  • The accurate and timely processing of supplier invoices.
  • Managing the monthly payment run and processing all other bank payments as requested.
  • Supplier statement reconciliation.
  • Monthly Bank Reconciliations of multiple currencies bank accounts.
  • Answering emails and telephone enquiries from both within and outside the organization efficiently.
  • Maintain effective filing systems within the finance department
  • Adapt workload in line with unplanned changes to priorities
  • Work within the department to promote teamwork
  • Prepare accurate and timely monthly and quarterly sales invoices based on fixed fees and time sheets.
  • Monitor and summarize Viewpoint time billing and provide useful management reports for billing purposes. Any other ad-hoc duties as required within the finance team

Essential Skills & Experience:

  • Purchase & sales ledger and accounts payable
  • Bank Reconciliation, payments, producing sales invoices
  • MS Office – excel, Word & outlook intermediate
  • Viewpoint experience is an advantage
