Project Manager

We are hiring a Project Manager to join our client’s team in Gibraltar.

What you’ll do:

  • Responsible for the end to end project life cycle and delivery of specific project activities. This
    includes but is not limited to: undertaking analysis, gathering business requirements, planning,
    reporting, as well as full business change activity across the implementation via communication,
    training etc.
  • Ensure that all Risks, Issues, Assumptions, Dependencies and Opportunities are identified,
    captured, communicated and appropriately managed.
  • Ensure that all relationships are identified and stakeholders are appropriately communicated to.
    This could vary in seniority from Board level, through Product and Channel Leadership, Shared
    Services and all operational teams. All activity undertaken with a view to ensuring that all fulfil
    their roles securing for success overcoming any resistance.
  • The role holder will lead and manage resources assigned to their projects. This can either be
    direct reports or via Matrix Management.
  • Will use standardised tools and methodologies in the execution of the project management and
    business change management activity.
  • Ensure each projects’ impacts are fully considered, communicated and managed. All undertaken
    prior to and during any implementation period.
  • Evaluate and ensure end user readiness while tracking and escalating any issues associated with
    the change management activity.
  • Will define, measure and report on the success metrics that will evidence the benefits of the
    projects undertaken.
  • Provide timely and accurate status reporting on the progress of each project within the role
    holders portfolio.
  • Ability to create business cases with relevant ROI.
  • Will be responsible to manage Project budgets ranging up to c. $2m Capital.

What you’ll need:

  • 3 – 5 years of project management experience or working in a project / programme management
  • Professional Qualification in project management or change management.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage people.
  • Considered subject matter expert across multiple disciplines.
  • Understands gaming and gambling industry.
  • Able to lead and collaborate with persons at all levels of responsibility to formulate, communicate and implement ideas and concepts.
  • Capable of formulating and driving independent decisions and recommendations.
  • Demonstrates ability to coordinate creativity, analysis and problem solving of many individuals which leads to consensus on solutions.
  • Considered an expert on methodologies, tools, best practices and processes across multiple technology areas as well as project and change management.
  • Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written. Recognized that different cultures and levels of seniority require different approaches.
  • Strong facilitation skills.
  • Has an approach to work that is flexible and adaptable with the ability to work in a fast paced organisation.
  • Is able to “get the sleeves rolled up” and help in times where is it is needed.
  • Is able to be flexible on working hours to accommodate communication across International time zones.
  • Organised with a natural inclination for problem solving, root cause identification and planning.
  • English language (verbal and written) essential. Other languages beneficial.
