Our client is looking for a Senior Data Scientist to join their evolving team. The ideal candidate will:
- Define, build and verify machine learning solutions, optimization engines and statistical models to maximise business value
- Apply machine learning approaches, advanced statistical and analytical techniques to extract general patterns and insights from data
- Understand how advance analytic technique and application can help solve business problems
- Enhance overall customer behavioural profile and improve Company capability for optimized next best action
- Chose the best modelling approach for the given business problem
- Conduct data preparation to integrate data from sources and prepare data ready for modelling and analysis
- Use advance data manipulation to produce new features that boost model performance
- Monitoring of live model performance and statistical process control approaches to identify significant performance deviations and need for intervention
- Develop algorithms that personalise content or automate actions at various customer touch points
- Develop in-depth product knowledge to understand key drivers of business and customer behaviours
- Support the Company with key business optimization challenges such as bonus allocation and pricing
- Develop relationships with key business stakeholders to identify key opportunities for predictive analytics
- Articulate model characteristics and impact to business stakeholders efficiently, helping them to understand the commercial implications of the data being presented
- Educate business stakeholders on how to interpret the model outputs
- Drive analytical projects through to delivery and embed them within the organisation
- Pilot and test new solutions
- Work with developers to operationalise and fully automate pieces of analysis
- Have a good understanding of industry trends and embrace industry innovations on data technology and advanced analytics
Requirements
- BSC in computer science, mathematics or statistics
- Excellent problem solving skills
- Experience of data analytics at a senior level
- Experience with modelling platforms
- A balanced set of skills across various domains, including machine learning techniques, data engineering, statistical analytics and tools development
- Strong understanding of data mining methodology
- Ability to build relationship with key stakeholders
- Excellent influencing skills
- An understanding of business processes within the gaming world
- Highly data and statistical driven
- Has experience in rolling out advance data mining models
